Event Description:
Now is the time to enter your home garden/landscaping or business front in the yearly Cheatham County Master Gardener Beautification Program. It’s so easy to apply! See the two flyers (an application and rules sheet) for details on how to participate in the pics below. Don’t miss the application deadline; it’s May 16, 2026.
The Master Gardeners will send a team to judge your entry and if it meets the guidelines, you will be notified and a Beautification Sign will be installed on your property. The mayors in the major towns in Cheatham County will select one participant in their area for an additional award —the Mayor’s Award. It is hung below the larger sign!
The CCMG is a non-profit group made up of volunteers who have completed the Master Gardener classes sponsored by the UT and TSU Extension Office in Ashland City. The CCMG members are excited about working with the participants in the 2026 Beautification Program! For more information see the pics below of the rules sheet and the application sheet.
