Parent Awareness Workshop

The Parent Awareness Workshop, the first in a series of upcoming workshops that will address various topics including literacy and education, will be presented by Claudette Fizer, Parent Involvement Coordinator, and May Lingner, Library Director. A collection of more than 50 new books added to the Library's Teaching Aid Collection, compliments of the Cheatham County School District, will be unveiled at the workshop. These books encourage parents to read with their children, and were voted the #1 series for parent involvement. Also at the workshop, parents will learn about the Tennessee Electronic Library (TEL) and all the valuable and free resources it has to offer for people of all ages. Refreshments will be provided!
