On Saturday, November 8th at 8:00 AM, we are hosting our annual Row-A-Thon to benefit Mission 22, a nonprofit dedicated to veteran suicide prevention. This cause is near and dear to us, and we’re aiming to make a significant impact with the help of our community.
How it works:
Teams of 6–8 participants will row in rotation on Concept 2 rowers until they collectively reach 50,000 meters. Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, the event is free for participants, and donations are pledged in recognition of every team’s efforts.
We would love the Chamber’s help in two areas:
Increasing Participation – We already have about 70 people signed up, but we would love to see even more involvement. This is an excellent team-building opportunity for businesses, churches, sports teams and community groups. Individuals are also welcome—we’ll make sure everyone has a team. The more participants we have, the more our sponsors are inspired to give.
Expanding Sponsorship – We have multiple sponsorship levels available (contact CrossFit WildThings). Some sponsors contribute a flat amount, while others pledge per team that completes the challenge. To make things even more exciting, one of our generous sponsors has committed to matching every donation, dollar for dollar. That means a $500 sponsorship instantly becomes $1,000 in support for Mission 22.
