ARCH Academy

ARCH Academy is committed to providing the highest quality of care possible, in a cost-effective manner, for adolescent males and their families who are at risk for, or suffering from primary substance abuse or substance dependency issues. ARCH Academy also treats common co-occurring issues that accompany substance use. Our treatment modality compliments the 12-step philosophy with evidenced based clinical interventions, experiential therapy, licensed private high school, all specifically designed for the developmental needs of the adolescent male. ARCH Academy is in network with over 40 private insurance companies, and a preferred provider for several of those insurances. Each resident will participate in individual therapy, family therapy and family program, group therapy, experiential therapy, creative arts therapy, all while participating in the fundamentals of the 12 steps. Specific interventions offered are: ropes course, zip lines, pottery, art therapy, 3-day family intensive program, academics, community service work and adventure-based trips. Programming is divided into three phases: Phase one, Primary Intensive and Assessment, averages 3-45 days and focuses on having the teen acknowledge the problem, uncover underlying issues, psychiatric assessment and medication management. The second phase can average 3-4 months and will explore in depth the primary issues revealed in phase one, including coping strategies, trauma work, and family systems work. The third and final phase focuses on skill application, life skills and re-integration. Alumni services available.
